- Is Velrix really free?
- Yes, and it stays free. No credit card, no hidden fees, no trial that quietly ends. Ads on the free tier cover the cost of running things, and Velrix Desktop drops the ads entirely while it earns points for you in the background.
- What can I host on Velrix?
- Discord bots and apps. Python, Node.js, Bun, Go, Java and Rust are all one click, or pick a ready-made project from the Software Library and skip the setup. Everything is managed from the Velrix dashboard: console, files, backups and full server control. Game servers are not supported yet.
- Do I need a credit card to sign up?
- No. All you need is an email address. We send you a magic sign-in link, so there is no password to remember and no card to enter.
- How do renewals work?
- Free servers renew on a regular cycle so resources stay available for everyone. You renew from your dashboard in a couple of clicks, using points you earn on the platform through daily check-ins, quests, referrals, the casino and Velrix Desktop.
- Is my project protected?
- Yes. All services run behind full DDoS protection on modern, high-performance hardware. You can check our uptime at any time on status.velrix.net.
- How fast can I get online?
- Minutes. Enter your email, click the magic link we send you, and you land on your dashboard. From there you deploy a server in a couple of steps: choose a runtime or a Software Library project, name it, fill in anything it needs, and it is provisioned for you.
